Most people think of the Bahamas or the Mediterranean when they think of scuba diving holidays. If you love to dive, take a look at the places in the Far East. Think about it, many of them are small islands. There are seas, lakes and oceans out there to explore. A lot of them are even in warm, tropical regions. I spent a summer in Okinawa. The weather was wonderful and the water was gorgeous. It was so blue and clear. You could see a lot of sea life just snorkeling. When we went on a dive it was incredible. There was a small coral reef where we were, I had never really seen one so it was new and exciting to see the life that depends on it. We are planning a trip to the Philippines next spring just to go diving. There were plenty of pirates in those waters, maybe we will dive on a shipwreck.; that would be awesome.
